Procedure to place it - A silver or gold mekhla should be attached to it. It should be washed with panchamrat and then with holy water. It should be placed on a red cloth, put chandan and roli on it. It showers the blessings of goddess Lakshmi.. It maintains harmonious relation among couples, it kept in bedroom. It enlightens sharpens their memory, southface conch is pure, helpful and  fit for being worshiped. It is considered to be a form of goddess Lskshmi and because of this it is loveable of lord Vishnu goddess Lskshmi always resides where south face conch is being worshipped. No diseases, sorrow or poverty,    hue and business gets profitable by worshipping this south face shankha (conch), southface conch is pure, helpful & fit for being worshiped.
